6th ANNUAL NEW ORLEANS QUEEN OF BURLESQUE FESTIVAL
Tease, tease, and more tease - I haven't been able to stand up properly for two days! And to think that my wife took me for my birthday - what a keeper. The 4-day festival exceeded my expectations this year. And the "Queen of Burlesque" competition Saturday night unveiled such highly selfless acts that it was nearly impossible for this reviewer to eliminate any of the beauties. So I won't. But I will fantasize - I mean, remember fondly - their devotion to the art of Burlesque.
And I will add that last year's queen in her stunning introductory act convinced me that I am still alive. Thank you MEDIANOCHE of Spain and all of the international participants - including New Orleans' own finalists - ELLE DORADO, ATHENA, & especially 1st RunnerUp CHARLOTTE TREUSE - for causing the tremors felt among the audience at New Orleans' Harrah's Casino. I am gushing with enthusiasm about the 2015 event - if I can stand up by then.
